What We Do

Adjustment skills training and blind rehabilitation instruction are often the key components for helping a visually impaired or blind individual gain the confidence to deal with vision loss and pursue their goals and dreams. Our functional low vision training and blind rehabilitation services are designed to meet the specific needs of each referral. For tasks as simple as accessing personal mail, looking at photos, or surfing the net to those as complex as identifying work-related assistive technology and magnification options, Blind and Visually Impaired Services can help! We provide assessments and training on site, and/or at a client’s home, workplace, or in the community.

We offer:

· Long cane travel (Orientation and Mobility) instruction

· Braille instruction

· Assistive Technology instruction

· Computer Keyboarding instruction

· Activities of Daily Living instruction
